Finding a Community Partner

The CCE's faculty engagement team and community relationships team can help you with ideas for connecting your research and/or courses to the community through community partnerships, applied research projects, guest speakers, service-learning opportunities for students, and more. The CCE has long-term relationships with over 60 organizations and connections with dozens more in the region, and we are always happy to help create new partnerships. Learn more about community partnerships during COVID-19 here.

Our team can help to identify potential community partners for your class research, or interest area, facilitate introductions to community partners and help maintain ongoing partnerships; provide funding for conference presentations; network with other community-engaged scholars; share resources on community-engaged research methods, techniques, and ethics; provide a resource library for community-engaged research; set up service learning and volunteer opportunities for your students; assist with coordination, logistics, and transportation costs for study trips; and connect you with local experts for guest speakers in your class.

Please note that you do not need to have a fully-formed partnership idea or community-based learning plan in mind. We are happy to help at any point in the process. If you're interested in learning more about potential community connections for your course, fill out this short form and a member of our team will be in touch with you soon.
