Sasha Hollister (she/her), Assistant Director of Community Relationships and Place-Based Engagement, earned a B.S. in Political Science from James Madison University, where she was also a member of Alpha Phi Omega, a community-service co-ed fraternity. Sasha joined the CCE in 2018 at UR Downtown, where she began her work with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA).
Prior to joining the CCE, Sasha worked as a Regional Manager at the Capital Area Food Bank in Washington, D.C. During her time there, she developed regional partnerships and administered child hunger relief programs. From 2008-2010, Sasha served in the Peace Corps as a Community and Organizational Development volunteer in a small Bulgarian village.
