Addie Wright is an assistant director of student engagement and the Bonner Scholars Program in the Bonner Center for Civic Engagement (CCE). They manage the first-year Bonner cohort and support cross-campus initiatives that promote student leadership, community engagement, and belonging.
Addie brings experience in mentorship, leadership development, and civic engagement, having previously served as a Graduate Assistant working in student-athlete development at the University of Richmond. They have also worked with organizations including Hurricane Island Outward Bound School, Industrial Economics, Inc., and the Wild Seed Project, leading programs focused on environmental education and equity-centered community engagement.
Originally from Richmond, Addie recently earned their Master’s in Sport Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University. Outside of work, they enjoy cooking new recipes, playing soccer, spending time with their dog, and soaking up the sun on the VMFA lawn.
