Engage for Change! Award Nomination

The Bonner Center for Civic Engagement will host its first annual awards breakfast gathering on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, to celebrate and acknowledge students, faculty, staff, and community leaders working together to make an impact in our communities.

Engage for Change! awards will honor service/volunteerism, community-engaged teaching, community-engaged research, collaborative projects, advocacy, and activism. We are inviting nominations of individuals or groups for an Engage for Change! award by Monday, July 16, 2018. The awards will be announced at the awards breakfast gathering.

Kirsten Lodal, CEO and co-founder of LIFT, a DC nonprofit that began as an idea during her sophomore year of college in 1998 and has become one of the foremost anti-poverty organizations in the country, will be our keynote speaker for this inaugural event.
