Courses Related to Civic Engagement

The University of Richmond offers a wide range of community-based learning (CBL) courses, which are related to civic engagement and social justice. In order to better understand the social problems commonly addressed through service, the Bonner Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) encourages students to take classes that explore the roots and current contexts of these problems.

Faculty teaching courses related to civic engagement are encouraged to inform Terry Dolson, CCE community-based learning (CBL) program manager. Likewise, faculty interested in creating a new course with a CBL component, or revising an existing course to include a CBL component, should contact Terry Dolson to learn about staff support and funding opportunities.
