Internships
Students gain invaluable real-world experience and a deeper understanding of specific organizations, careers, and social issues when they undertake an internship. The Career Development Center posts local, national, and international internship opportunities in the corporate, nonprofit, and government sectors on its Web site and provides career counseling for students interested in securing an internship.
To offer financial support to students who accept unpaid internships with a community-service focus, the Bonner Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) has established some competitive fellowships:
