Directory of Community Opportunities
The Bonner Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) maintains a directory of service sites that lists service opportunities at organizations with which the CCE has regular contact. Organizations not currently featured in the service directory can submit their ongoing volunteer needs to the CCE, and organizations already featured in the service directory can update their existing postings.
The service directory database can be searched both alphabetically and by category. Categories, as indicated below, include Arts & Culture, Civil/Legal Rights & Advocacy, Community Development, Education, Elderly, Environment, Health, Human Need, Non-English, Politics & International Affairs, and Youth. Many organizations are cross-listed in more than one category.
For lists of additional service opportunities, search ConnectRichmond, Hands on Greater Richmond, and Volunteer Match.
