Overview:	Virginia Blood Services, a nonprofit organization founded in 1974, employs more than 200 people throughout Virginia. Our goal is to provide patients with safe blood from donors who receive the best of care from us. Our lifesaving work is frequently cited by employees as a major source of personal and professional satisfaction.
	Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities Areas that need volunteers include: blood drive hospitality, drivers to deliver blood to area hospitals, health fair representation, administrative support in all departments, and warehouse work. (Orientation and DMV record required.) UPDATED 7/09
