Overview:	The RPEC works to promote peace and social justice in the Richmond community and the rest of the world. It works with local schools, religious institutions, and local governments and offers a wide range of programs and conflict resolution training.
	Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities The following opportunities are available for volunteers: office work, including telephoning members to update their addresses and support status, help with fundraising projects, including the annual auction/dinner on November 11, recycling printer cartridges and cell phones, and others, help with publications, including a bi-monthly newsletter and website, research for developing new training curriculum, assistance with the Richmond Youth Peace Project (RYPP), an initiative to help reduce youth violence in the Richmond area.
