Overview:
The North Richmond YMCA provides an Early Child Care Program for children ranging in age from 2 1/2 - 5 years of age. We also have a before and after school program which serves children between the ages of 5-12 and a Middle School and Teen Program. North Richmond YMCA is committed to providing high quality, affordable child care services to children who live in disadvantaged communities.
Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities
North Richmond YMCA is seeking volunteers/interns to assit in our child care programs as "reading buddies," tutors, homework assitants, and dance & drama instructors. We can also offer education majors an opportunity to gain hands-on experience by implementing lesson plans in the classrooms and participating in home visits and parent-teacher conferences.
