Voter Registration Deadline: October 16, 2017

Absentee Ballot Request Deadline: October 31st, 2017

Election Day: November 7th, 2017

If you are interested in learning more about the City of Richmond's local government, consider attending a local government event including a Richmond City Council or School Board meeting.

Elections

The CCE, in conjunction with departments and student organizations across campus, hosts a series of programming during each election season. Voter registration information is available through our office. 

Voter Registration

Voter Registration Information Tables will be in the Tyler Haynes Commons and the Law School until the Voter Registration deadline for Virginia. External groups must be sponsored by a student organization or campus department to host voter registration drives on-campus. If you are interested in joining these voter registration efforts, please contact Emerson Rhudy.

Visit the website for City Council and School Board meeting recaps and information about local elections.

Election Day Shuttles

University Transportation will run shuttles on a loop from campus to the polls for voters who are registered with their campus address.

Shuttles will leave from the Transportation Hub outside of the Tyler Haynes Commons every 15 minutes from 9a.m. to 3p.m. and 4p.m. to 7p.m.
