Students for Educational Equality

Founded in 2011, Students for Educational Equality (SEE) is an issue coalition that seeks to connect students volunteering in educational settings with each other and with other community members, faculty, and staff who are interested in issues of educational equality.

SEE’s mission is to generate campus conversation and awareness about the racial and financial segregation that exists in today’s public education system. This is done through presentations, monthly newsletters, and documentary showings. Beginning in 2013, SEE also began a Town Hall Forum series to create a space for discussions concerning topics like standardized testing and state takeover of schools.
