Community Partners
The Bonner Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) serves as a single point of contact for central Virginia agencies seeking volunteers and answers to research and organizational questions.
Nonprofit leaders participate in both regular and special CCE programs by sharing their expertise in civic problems and community development with University of Richmond students, faculty, and staff.
Serving as a liaison between the community and the campus, the CCE helps students connect to organizations requesting volunteers to meet a social need. The CCE encourages students to draw upon their educational preparation to help them understand the contexts of these needs and possible ways to address them systematically.
Leaders of community and civic organizations are encouraged to explore the helpful resources provided by the CCE regarding community organizations and volunteers, as well as the University's master calendar of events open to the general public.
